How long we keep information

  • Default State (Anonymized Aggregation): By default, we prioritise your anonymity. Once a voting week concludes, your specific votes are stripped of your User ID and aggregated into school-wide and university-wide statistics. We retain no link between your account and your past choices. Consequently, we cannot provide historical insights or "political taste" summaries in this mode.
  • Opt-In Retention (Personal History): If you enable "Vote History Retention," we retain a private record of your past votes linked to your account. This data is encrypted and used solely to provide you with personal insights, historical tracking, and taste profiling.
  • Data Control: You may toggle this setting at any time. If you switch from "Opt-In" to "Default," all previously saved personal voting history will be anonymized and decoupled from your account at the end of the voting week.

For more information on how long we store your personal information or the criteria we use to determine this please contact us using the details provided above.
